Montana’s Little Cat Rescue exists to say yes when a cat has nowhere else to turn. We rescue the cats so often left behind or overlooked; the seniors, the medical cases, the abandoned, the neglected, the abused, and the forgotten. The ones running out of time. The ones others have given up on.
As a foster-based nonprofit, we rely entirely on the generosity of our supporters to provide lifesaving medical care, nutritious food, safe shelter, and a second chance for every cat we rescue. Every dollar helps us answer another call for help.

Building the Future Home of Montana’s Little Cat Rescue
Help us create a place where more cats get the chance they deserve.
Montana’s Little Cat Rescue started because one cat was almost out of time.
Montana, a 15-year-old senior cat, was just days away from euthanasia when she was given one final chance. Saving her proved something we’ll never forget- one “yes” can change everything! Today, that same belief drives every rescue we take in.
We focus on the cats that are so often overlooked- seniors, medical cases, abandoned cats, those who have spent years surviving outdoors, and the cats whose time is running out in overcrowded shelters. These are the cats many rescues simply don’t have the space or resources to help.
That’s why we’re building something bigger.
Our vision is to build a permanent rescue facility that will become a safe haven for the cats who need us most. A place where vulnerable cats can receive immediate protection, begin lifesaving medical care, recover in comfort, and safely prepare for their next chapter while waiting for the perfect foster or forever home.
The facility will include dedicated cat housing, medical and quarantine areas, year-round climate control, comfortable recovery spaces, and a welcoming meet-and-greet room for adopters. Most importantly, it will give us the ability to rescue more cats than we ever could before.
Every additional room means another cat we don’t have to turn away. Every kennel means another life saved. Every square foot brings us closer to saying “yes” when an urgent call comes in. This building isn’t about having a bigger rescue, It’s about making sure we have the space to help the next senior cat, the next injured stray, the next kitten with nowhere to go, and the next Montana before it’s too late.
